Rules of the shelf

Two documents matter: this page for the site you are reading, and the label on the can for the thing in your hand.

What this site is

A catalog with writing around it. The descriptions, the shelves and the notes are ours, and they are here so a can makes sense before you buy one rather than after.

Figures, sizes and pack counts are taken from the listings and checked when the catalog is built, not typed in by hand. They can still fall behind the listing, and where the two disagree the listing is the one to believe.

The can beats the page

Anything printed on the can and its packaging governs how the can is used, and it governs it over anything written here. If this site and the label disagree, the label wins and we would like to hear about the difference.

The notes on this site are about technique. They are not instructions for use, and they do not replace reading what came printed on the tin.

Orders are not governed here

Buy buttons hand you to our retail partner. Their terms cover the order, the payment, the delivery and anything sent back, and nothing on this page changes any of that.

This site takes no orders and holds no money, which is a short way of saying there is nothing here for an order to be governed by.
